GIAA Cargo Grows Two Digits in First Quarter

MANGUPURA – Bali Tourism Office expects Garuda Indonesia airline to utilize Bali if finally the Jakarta-London route is eliminated.

Garuda Indonesia Develop Bali as Main Cargo Hub

Airlines of PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. will develop Ngurah Rai Airport in Denpasar, Bali, to become one of the main cargo hubs.

President Director of Garuda Indonesia Pahala Mansury in the inauguration of the cooperation to increase the benefits of Garuda Indonesia Citi Card at Terminal 3 of Soekarno Hatta Airport Tangerang, said that the development of Denpasar as a hub is expected to boost cargo increase by 13% -15% in 2018.

April, Garuda Indonesia Open Denpasar-Mumbai Route

DENPASAR – Garuda Indonesia plans to add a new route, namely Denpasar-Mumbai in April to capture the magnitude of the potential tourists from India on vacation to the Island of the Gods as well as to Australia.

GM Garuda Bali Joseph Adrian Saul said the new route is planned to be inaugurated on 23 April by using Airbus type 330-200 aircraft.

The plan in the first month, Garuda Indonesia will serve the flight with 7 hours of travel time, twice weekly, ie Monday and Thursday. In the following month, the frequency of flights will be increased to three times a week to Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

Garuda Cargo Increases Door to Door Service

JAKARTA – PT Garuda Indonesia through its subsidiary Garuda Indonesia Cargo will improve the delivery service to customers.

Cargo Director of Garuda Indonesia Cargo, Sigit Muhartono, said the company will improve its services by not delivering port-to-port or airport shipment to the airport.
