This is Qatar Airways’ new APD (Personal Protective Equipment) for Passengers and Cabin Crew

Jakarta, Airmagz.com – Qatar Airways has developed health and safety standards on aircraft by introducing new Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for passengers and cabin crew.

In an official statement received by Airmagz.com, Friday (3/7/2020). This new APD includes an additional face shield and protective kit.

The disposable face shield is available in two standard sizes – one for adults and the other for children. Face shield for children is designed with the Oryx Kids Club airline mascot.

Passengers traveling from Hamad International Airport (HIA), Doha, Qatar will receive a face shield at the check-in counter. While in other destinations, face shields will be distributed at the boarding gate.

On the plane, all Qatar Airways passengers will be provided with free protective boxes. Inside is a disposable face mask, powder gloves, and alcohol-based hand sanitizer gel.

While Business Class passengers will also be given an additional 75 ml tube hand sanitizer.

New disposable protective clothing for cabin crew, in accordance with uniforms with the addition of safety goggles, gloves and face masks.

The protective shirt is personalized with the Qatar Airways logo in the left corner of the shirt.
