“At 23:10 pm under the meteorological watch office, it has published significant meteorological news for flights based on information: observations from VA Advisory Darwin, that the vulcanic ash blast from the majestic mountains has reached an altitude of 30,000 feet moving south-southwest at speed 5-10 knots and still leads to the airport I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali, “he explained, Tuesday (28/11/2017).
He added until 00:00 pm, Paper Test has been done and the result is NIL the presence of volcanic ash at Airport I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali. However, given the airport air space is still covered by the spread of volcanic ash in accordance with VA Advisory ploting, Notam Closed Airport will continue for up to 24 hours ahead.
The airport until now still records the number of flights and passengers affected.
