“February [already] can be done, because [the runway of 2,500 meters] previously been finished, just add not to open new land,” said Awalludin, Sunday (21/1/2018).
He added that the development process can be done immediately after the signing of cooperation cooperation (KSO) with PT International Airport West Java (BIJB) this week. KSO has been agreed for 17 years in a meeting held by the Coordinating Ministry for the Ministry of Marine Affairs.
It will coordinate with Kemenhub to discuss technical matters. The discussion covers design, masterplan, up to engineering details from the air side.
“If asked [to carry out development], we must first discuss [with Kemenhub],” he said.
