JAKARTA – PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) has proposed the tariff increase of landing service, placement and storage of aircraft (PJP4U) of all airports under its management to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of the Ministry of Transportation.
Israwadi, Corporate Secretary of AP I, said that the tariff increase of PJP4U service is a consequence of the investment cost that has been issued by the company to develop the airport.
“We have proposed the raising of PJP4U such as landing charge and placement, because so far the apron in several airports has been expanded,” said Israwadi, Monday (2/7/2018).
It hopes the regulator, namely Ditjen Hubud can immediately provide a decision related to the submission. The upgrade is expected to be implemented in August or September this year.
The PJP4U tariff component is determined by aircraft weight, flight type, and airport class.
If an airport is determined to limit the weight of the aircraft to landing and take off, then the landing, placement, and storage of the plane shall be the same as the aircraft weight limitation applicable at the airport concerned.
There are three counts of PJP4U. Firstly, the tariff for aircraft landing service, which is for the circumference flight is 50% of the tariff, the flight due to emergency re-landing at the return to base (RTB) is 50% of the tariff and the cockpit crew education flight or trial is charged 25% of the tariff.
Second, the placement tariff calculation is calculated since the aircraft is parked (block on) until leaving the place (block off) the airport. Meanwhile, placement of aircraft less than 2 hours is exempted from placement rate.
Third, the calculation of aircraft storage tariffs has been done since the aircraft entered until exit from the hangar.
