JAKARTA (Berita.Trans.com) – The Indonesian Logistics and Forwarders Association (ALFI) has questioned whether the policy on the relief of cumulative expenses in Tanjung Priok Port during Idul Adha 1438 holiday is only for domestic containers only?
In fact, the impact of restrictions on freight operational activities during the 4 days of Idul Adha 2017/1438 H holidays also affected the imported containers, said Widijanto, Chairman of Jakarta DPF ALFI, Wednesday (30/8/2017).
Previously on 28 August 2017, Commercial and Business Development Director of PT Tanjung Priok Port Ari Hendryanto issued Circular Letter No. HM 608/28/8/1 / PTP-17 addressed to service users within PT Tanjung Priok Port.
In the circular it is mentioned that the cumulative cost during the 4 days of Idul Adha holiday is only 1 day.
Relief of the stacking costs
apply at PTP Domestic Terminal for all domestic unloading containers with full status and non-container goods.
Widijanto said that if the PTP specifically issues a waiver policy for domestic containers only, the Container Terminal must issue the same policy for imported containers according to agreement between previous users and service providers.
The Container Terminal needs to notify the waiver of import container cargo cracking cost so that service users do not feel confused about whether the import container can be relief what is not? (Wilam)
